Employer plans and Medicare plans work differently
Most people with UnitedHealthcare dental coverage get it through an employer. Some UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans also include dental benefits, but those can use a different network and have their own limits. If you have a Medicare plan with dental, call us with your member ID and we’ll check whether your coverage applies here.

Most UnitedHealthcare dental PPO plans cover a portion of oral surgery, such as extractions and wisdom teeth removal, after your deductible and up to your annual maximum.
