Meet Dr. LaTocha

Dr. LaTocha founded Lake County Oral Surgery over 30 years ago and has spent his career building something rare — a surgical practice where patients feel genuinely cared for, not just efficiently treated. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he brings both elite credentials and deep roots to every procedure.

After completing his residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and earning hospital privileges at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital, Dr. LaTocha returned to the north suburbs and never left. Over three decades, he’s become one of Lake County’s most trusted names in dental implants and wisdom tooth removal – caring for patients referred by the area’s best dentists and returning to him year after year.

Outside the office, Dr. LaTocha is happiest on the water — whether that means fishing, spending time with his family at the lake, or planning his next trip somewhere new. That same patience and attention he brings to the outdoors follows him into the operating room.
