Dental plan or medical plan?
Many people have Blue Cross Blue Shield for medical insurance but a different company for dental. Your BCBS dental coverage appears either on a separate dental ID card or on your medical card with a dental section. Check your card, or call us with it in hand, and we’ll sort it out.
How your BCBS of Illinois dental benefits typically apply
Most BCBS of Illinois dental PPO plans cover oral surgery, such as extractions and wisdom teeth removal, at a percentage after your deductible, up to your annual maximum.
