Meet Dr. Gasper

A native of the Chicago suburbs, Dr. David Gasper returns to Northern Illinois bringing a wealth of elite surgical experience to Lake County Oral Surgery. After graduating from Wheaton College, Dr. Gasper earned his dental degree through a prestigious accelerated program at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco under a full military scholarship.

Dr. Gasper completed his residency at the historic Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. He went on to serve as a staff surgeon, interim Assistant Program Director, and eventually Chief of Oral Surgery at Ft. Riley, Kansas, earning the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

Today, Dr. Gasper utilizes one of Illinois’ most state-of-the-art facilities to provide exceptional care—specializing in dental implants and wisdom teeth removal under general anesthesia and deep IV sedation.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Gasper is a dedicated husband and father to three high-energy boys. Whether he’s hiking, cycling, or embarking on a cross-country road trip, he stays active. He remains an avid Cubs fan and occasionally reminds his neighbors of his former glory days as a drummer.
